How it Works
TERMVET is a simple, web-based application that makes the port vetting process easy for ships. To get started, vessels complete a detailed questionnaire through the user-friendly interface. This ensures all necessary information is gathered quickly, helping streamline the pre-arrival assessment process and making it easier for vessels to comply with port requirements.
New Vessel Report Request
The Port Authority will send a vessel a pre-arrival questionnaire to fill out, to assess its safety and compliance before entering the port.
Vessel to Answer Questionnaire
The vessel will login to the TermVet App with information provided and complete the required questions and send the questionnaire back to the Port for review.
Port Authority Reviews Qusetionnaire
The Port Authority reviews the questionnaire submitted by the vessel. If the answers are satisfactory, they will accept it. If not, they will return the questionnaire to the vessel, requesting more details or clarification on specific questions.
Accepted and report
The vessel will be notified of it's success and be provide with a downladable report. The report is valid for 12 months.
